What does a Garage Endorsement mean?

A Garage Endorsement states that all the time the bike is within the vicinity of the home address the bike MUST be garaged between the hours of 10pm and 6am. If the bike was stolen between these hours whilst un-garaged at the home address (e.g., left on the road outside the house), then you will not be covered for theft.

I want to see how much it would be to insure my bike just Fire and Theft Only (Laid Up) but can't seem to do this?

This is depending on which Insurer we have placed you with. These days Insurers are calculating the premiums assuming that you won't ride your bike for 12 months of the year. Also you may lose your No Claims Bonus. We recommend that you continue your Annual policy, however if you are storing your bike and not riding it, then call our Customer Service Team who will look to find a suitable policy.

It is always a good idea to notify us of your travel plans. You do not need a Green Card if you are travelling within the territorial limits of the policy.

What if I change my mind about this policy?

All products have a 14 day right of withdrawal. Should you wish to exercise this right, please return the certificate of insurance. If the policy is cancelled before the commencement of cover a full refund will be made.

If cover has commenced, or if the policy is cancelled after the 14 day withdrawal period and a claim has not been made in the current period of insurance, we will work out the charge for the time you have been covered by your insurance (using our short-period rates shown on the policy) to the date we receive your certificate. We will then refund any amount we owe you.

If the policy is cancelled after the 14 day withdrawal period an administration fee of £21 will apply.

We will not refund any of your premium if you have made a claim during the period of insurance, or if you have a pending claim. If you are paying by instalments, you must pay the balance of the full annual premium.
