Red Letter Days; Ferrari Driving Experience
Red Letter Days have announced their latest 'once in a lifetime opportunity'; a Ferrari driving experience, for teenagers!
The course is designed for those who have had no prior experience with cars - or any other vehicle but is more technical than a mountain bike. The participant starts off in a MINI Cooper to practise their clutch control, braking and steering all under the watchful eye of a trained instructor. They are then driven at high speeds around the private circuit in a BMW Alpina D3, before moving on to the main event; driving a shiny, red Ferrari 550 or 360 depending on where you are on the rota.
The instructor is helpful and patient, helping the youngsters to relax and gain confidence behind the wheel. Although they may be secure and happy, it may be painful for those parents that are watching; it is not the wellbeing of their children that they have to worry about, but rather the safety of the Ferrari in the hands of an extremely inexperienced driver. The course has not reported any casualties thus far either to the teenagers or the car and it is extremely unlikely that it will. Any participating youngsters are in the best hands, with the trained professionals able to take control of the situation at a moments notice.
At £80, this is the perfect gift for any teenager. They receive a video of their experience and a certificate to impress their friends. It truly is a 'once in a lifetime' experience that many adults would be jealous of.
